Before you start
Check the target account’s children and the limits of the new package first.
Steps
-
Open the tier-change page.
In Zamfoo, open Upgrade / Downgrade Account.
-
Find the account.
Search for its username or domain, then select it.
-
Choose the new tier or package.
Select one of the choices available to your account.
-
Review ownership changes.
Check what happens to child accounts. A cPanel account cannot keep reseller privileges or own an unsupported reseller tree.
-
Confirm the change.
Read the confirmation, select I AM SURE when shown, and click Submit.
-
Check the tree.
Refresh the hierarchy and confirm the account’s tier, package and owner in WHM.
What you should see
The new tier and package appear and every child account has a valid owner.
If something goes wrong
If a tier is missing, check the license, your permissions and package limits. If a pending account repair blocks the change, ask Root to reconcile it first.
