Before you start

Sign in as Root. These limits include accounts owned through lower resellers.

Steps

  1. Open Package Limits.

Choose the package from Creatable Packages.

  2. Set account counts.

Enter the maximum for each displayed tier. Use Unlimited only where you intend no cap.

  3. Set disk and bandwidth limits.

Enter the soft and hard limits in MB. A soft limit is an early threshold; a hard limit is the stricter threshold.

  4. Review over-limit actions.

Check the action, target and lock for each enabled policy. Suspension or termination can affect hosting accounts.

  5. Save and reload.

Save the package, select it again and check that the numbers were retained.

  6. Test on a disposable account.

Try the limit and chosen action in a test setup before enabling it for customers.

What you should see

The saved limits reload correctly and test account creation respects the counts.

If something goes wrong

Counts include lower-level descendants, not just direct children. Lowering a count is not a way to remove existing accounts. Test automatic enforcement separately; a visible setting alone does not prove its action has run.
