Before you start

Open Zamfoo Malware Protect → Scan as Root.

Steps

Choose a speed.

Balanced suits most servers. Low server impact throttles CPU and disk. Fast uses more CPU.
Start the scan.

Choose Start scan and follow its status.
Stop if necessary.

Choose Stop scan and confirm.
Start again when ready.

Start a new scan when the server is quieter or with a different speed.

What you should see

The scan runs at the chosen speed or stops when you ask.

If something goes wrong

An incomplete scan does not establish that files are clean. Speed cannot be changed on a running scan; stop it and start another.
