Before you start
You need Root access in WHM and root SSH access.
Steps
-
Check current work in WHM.
Scan shows any running scan; Detections & cleanup shows any cleanup job. Use Refresh status if the status is unknown.
-
Check the timer.
The maintenance timer should be active.
systemctl status zamfoo-malware-maintenance.timer -
Read recent errors.
Look for repeated errors in the service log.
journalctl -u zamfoo-malware-maintenance.service -n 50 --no-pager -
Repair the timer if missing.
Reinstall the timer.
bash /usr/local/cpanel/whostmgr/docroot/cgi/zamfoo_malware/deployment/install-timer.sh -
Resume or cancel interrupted work.
In Detections & cleanup, choose Resume or Cancel on an interrupted job after fixing the cause.
What you should see
The timer is active and work continues or reaches a clear end state.
If something goes wrong
Only one scan or cleanup runs at a time. A queued cleanup whose worker has been gone for more than two minutes is reported as interrupted. Reading status never starts or resumes work.
