Before you start
Open Zamfoo Malware Protect as Root. Closing the browser does not stop a cleanup.
Steps
-
Find the job.
The current cleanup appears above the table in Detections & cleanup.
-
Pause or cancel a running job.
Pause stops after the files in progress. Cancel stops the remaining work.
-
Resume a paused or interrupted job.
Fix the cause first, then choose Resume. It continues from its checkpoint.
-
Retry verification.
If the scanner was unavailable, the job shows Retry verification. Choose it once the scanner is ready.
-
Check the results.
Read the processed, cleaned, quarantined and failed counts, then rescan the account.
What you should see
The job reaches the state you chose, and completed work stays recorded.
If something goes wrong
Cancel does not undo completed repairs. A scan cannot start while a cleanup is running or waiting for verification. If progress has not updated for over three minutes, check the maintenance service.
