Before you start
Keep your own hosting backup as well. Check the affected account before cleaning.
Steps
-
Select the files.
In Detections & cleanup, check the files to clean.
-
Choose Clean Selected.
The review lists each file with its proposed action and reason.
-
Read the proposed actions.
Restore verified core file, Repair supported code or Move to quarantine. Files marked for review stay unchanged.
-
Confirm the cleanup.
Choose Confirm cleanup. Progress appears above the table.
-
Check the results.
Show All files to see cleaned and quarantined files with their action time.
What you should see
Repaired files show Cleaned, isolated files show Quarantined, and any file left for review says why.
If something goes wrong
The review is tied to the files you saw. If a file changes before cleanup reaches it, it is left for a new review. Files that fail repair or still contain malware are quarantined with a verified backup.
