Before you start
Open Zamfoo Malware Protect → Detections & cleanup as Root.
Steps
-
Show files that need review.
Choose Show → Needs review. These files were left unchanged because they could not be repaired safely.
-
Read the reason.
Open Details to see the evidence and the original and current content.
-
Fix the file.
Replace it with a trusted original or edit it yourself, then scan the account again.
-
Show files awaiting verification.
Choose Show → Awaiting verification. These repairs are waiting for the scanner.
-
Retry verification.
When the scanner is available, choose Retry verification on the cleanup job.
What you should see
Reviewed files are fixed or ignored, and pending repairs are verified.
If something goes wrong
Files awaiting verification are never counted as cleaned, and their backups are kept until verification finishes. A new scan or cleanup cannot start before pending verification is resolved.
