Before you start

Open Zamfoo Malware Protect as Root.

Steps

  1. Open Quarantine & recovery.

Choose it in the header menu.

  2. Filter the list.

Filter by account, type (quarantined files or recovery backups), status (available or restored), saved date and file path.

  3. Read the type.

Quarantined file means it was removed from the website. Recovery backup is an original saved before a repair.

  4. Check the retention.

Each copy shows when it expires. Copies used by an unfinished cleanup are kept until it is resolved.

  5. Choose the next step.

Restore or delete a copy, or leave it for later.

What you should see

You can find the right copy and tell whether its file was quarantined or repaired.

If something goes wrong

Several versions of one file are listed separately. Filters, sort and page are kept when you reload.
