Before you start
Review the file first. Ignoring does not clean anything.
Steps
-
Select the files.
In Detections & cleanup, check the files, or use Ignore on one row.
-
Choose Ignore selected.
Read the confirmation and confirm.
-
Find ignored files.
Choose Show → Ignored detections.
-
Stop ignoring.
Choose Stop ignoring to return a file to active threats.
What you should see
Ignored files leave the active list but stay listed under Ignored detections.
If something goes wrong
An ignore applies to the file’s current content. If a later scan finds the file has changed, it becomes active again. Ignore changes wait while a cleanup is pending verification.
