Before you start
Sign in as Root and open Apex Operations Center.
Steps
-
Open Maintenance.
Choose Root Settings → Maintenance.
-
Add a window.
Choose Add maintenance window and give it a label you will recognise.
-
Choose weekly or one-time.
A weekly window repeats on the chosen days in the server’s time zone. A one-time window can last up to seven days.
-
Save.
Save the window and check it in the list.
-
Delete windows you no longer need.
Use Delete beside the window.
What you should see
Alerts pause while a window is active, and concerns still active when it ends are alerted then.
If something goes wrong
Monitoring and incidents continue during a window; only alerts pause. Check the server time zone shown in Root Settings when planning weekly windows.
