Before you start
Sign in as Root. These checks make network requests from your server, so they are off until you enable them.
Steps
-
Open Network checks.
Choose Root Settings → Network checks.
-
Enable uptime checks.
Choose how often to check (every 5, 10 or 15 minutes), how many consecutive failures open a concern, and the timeout.
-
Enable blocklist checks.
Choose how often to check and which DNS blocklist zones to query.
-
Save.
Save the settings.
-
Confirm the checks run.
After the next run, Server health on Overview shows the uptime and blocklist results.
systemctl status zamfoo-operations-netcheck.timer
What you should see
Uptime results appear for each account, and blocklist listings open server concerns.
If something goes wrong
The checks run from their own timer, never from the per-minute collector. If a domain points to another server and the request fails, the result is “hosted elsewhere”, not an outage. Answers in 127.255.255.0/24 (for example Spamhaus refusing public resolvers) are reported as query errors, not listings.
