Before you start
This applies to Apex reseller logins. Root manages every setting and recovery action; the server enforces this.
Steps
-
Open the console as the Apex reseller.
Sign in to WHM with the Apex account and open Apex Operations Center. A read-only notice explains the access.
-
Review your accounts.
Overview, Accounts & Diagnostics and Activity & Reviews show only accounts in your own tree.
-
Read concerns and Root notes.
Each concern shows what was detected, when, and any notes Root added while working on it.
-
Check a customer IP.
In Security, enter the IP and choose Check IP to see whether it is blocked and why.
-
Ask Root for help.
Choose the affected account, describe the problem and select Request Root review.
-
Export what you need.
Export accounts and incidents as CSV. History & reports covers 7, 30 or 90 days.
What you should see
The Apex reseller can follow every concern in their branch, and Root receives any review request in Activity & Reviews.
If something goes wrong
Apex users cannot clear IP blocks, stop PHP workers, run diagnostics, acknowledge or snooze concerns, or change settings; the server refuses these requests. Recovery permissions from earlier releases were retired and are removed on upgrade. Root can choose to email Apex users about concerns in their own tree from Root Settings → Alerts.
