Before you start
Root manages incidents. Apex users can read the concerns and notes for their own accounts.
Steps
-
Open the concerns.
Use View on Overview, or open Activity & Reviews → Incidents.
-
Read what was detected.
Check the account, severity, first and last detection, sample count and notes.
-
Review the fix.
Choose Review fix. A certificate concern offers Run AutoSSL; CPU, memory and PHP concerns offer Review PHP workers; others suggest Diagnose or Verify again.
-
Acknowledge, snooze or add a note.
Acknowledge marks a concern as seen. Snooze hides it from Needs action for 15 minutes to 24 hours. Add note records what you did; Apex users can read notes. You can acknowledge or snooze a whole list from Needs attention.
-
Mark resolved when fixed.
Mark resolved records what was done and closes the incident on the next sample. If the condition is still detected, a new incident opens.
-
Answer IP block reviews.
Open Activity & Reviews → IP block reviews, choose resolved or declined, add an explanation and send it.
What you should see
Each concern shows its current state and history, and Apex users can see Root’s response to their request.
If something goes wrong
Acknowledging or snoozing does not fix a problem or remove it from unresolved totals. An AutoSSL request is recorded as requested, not resolved; the concern clears only when a fresh sample shows the condition has gone. For a persistent concern, use a snooze, a per-account threshold or an alert exclusion rather than repeatedly marking it resolved.
