Incorrect Licenses

If you are changing servers, you will need to reissue your license to ensure that your license key is bound to your new server details. To reissue your license, login to your client area and click on ‘View your licenses’ –> ‘View and Download’ next to the license key you need to be reissued and then click ‘Reissue License’. Once a license key is reissued, it will automatically get assigned to the next server that you use the key on.

Note: Before you reissue your key, do ensure the following:

  • Your license key is correctly entered in your server.
  • The license key is not in use on any other server

To check your license key that you are using on your server, run the following command from SSH:

cat /usr/local/cpanel/whostmgr/docroot/cgi/zamfoo/zamfoo_reseller_license_key.php

If the license key is incorrect or if you wish to change the key, run the following command from SSH:

nano /usr/local/cpanel/whostmgr/docroot/cgi/zamfoo/zamfoo_reseller_license_key.php

Make sure you follow the directions in the key file to save the file correctly and exit back to the linux command prompt.
